On September 7th, 2010, I met my best friend, his name is Justin. We were really close and always talked, he always was there for me, and I was always there for him. Then he started going out with my other best friend Krista, we still were really close and I was really happy they were going out. They eventually broke up and they were *on-and-off*. As they were on-and-off, me and him drifted apart, he stopped texting me and calling me, and I usually had to do that. In February , Justin and Krista started going out again, I was really happy for them, and as they were going out me and Justin stopped talking as much but he still claimed I was his best friend. I had a party and he came, he started calling my mom, "mom". We got into a few fights here and there, but nothing serious. After a while, Krista and Justin broke up and I felt really bad for them. But as they were going out I got new friends and I became with my now best friend Nick. I feel really bad now because I love Nick like a brother but I also love Justin as a brother to. I was talking to Justin a few weeks ago, and he said "I can't believe your replacing me with Nick"and I felt super bad, but then again, he forgot about me when he was with krista. Now I just want things to be back to normal when me and Justin were best friends and I still want to be friends with Nick. If anyone can comment on this and help me I would strongly appreciate it. Aww NOW I finally get what was happening all those months.. Jeez I'm slow:) But tell Justin Nick isn't reaplacing him, he's just another brother like Justin is to you. And make sure you make it clear that Justin is irreplaceble, but you wish he had talked to you more when he was going out with Krista. It doesn't mean you love him any less:) Hope it helps<3

tell justin that you feel replaced by your friend kristy. he'll understand how you feel because hes feeling the same thing by what you did to him with nick. just go for it, i'm sure he'll understand(: goooodluck<3

That kind of happened to me, not completely the same. One of my really good guy friends was like my best friend, it was always me and him and two other friends. I was dating one of the other friends, but the guy liked me. When he got his first girlfriend, he told me he couldnt talk to me anymore. I talked to him everyday, and it was really hard. when they broke up, things went back to normal. then he got another girlfriend. he quit talking to me again. I'm sorry to say, but i have stopped talking to this guy, because i decided im not going to be the one who he only wants when no one wants him. im nice to him still, but we rarely talk anymore.
