  I turned up the music when I heard Jennifer Lopez come on. We just pulled into her garage, and eventually walked inside, up to her room; her light purple room. "What time do we have to be at the banquet for?" Taylor asked. "6." "Okay so we have like a little over three hours to get ready." "Right. I'm going to jump in the shower real quick," I said heading for the door. I took a half hour shower, got out a dried myself. I walked back into her room in my towel. "I'm glad we bought these new dresses, they're adorable," I told Tay looking at the two beautiful outfits hanging in her closet. We went shopping last weekend just for the occasion, and found perfect ones for each of us. "Me too! And do you mind painting my nails? And doing my hair and makeup?" she asked. "Don't I always," I replied smiling. I was a perfectionist when it came to beauty and style, it was my passion. I already had my nails done since I went to the salon yesterday with my mom, so I started right away with Taylor with french manicures on both her fingers and toes, like mine. I let them dry, while I loosely curled my long brown hair. Then of course, I did hers, but I made it far less curly, more wavy which looked good on her. Next was makeup. I finished both of us in like 10 minutes, it was such a routine; dark mascara, black eyeliner on top and bottom lids, smokey eye shadow, pink lip gloss, a little touch up. And done. We got our flowery printed dresses out, and put them on, along with high heeled shoes and jewelry. I grabbed a bottle of water on the way out of the house. It was 5:45. Before I knew it we were there, standing in the doorway, choosing which elegant white table to sit at. We found one, and sat down. Me and Taylor started talking about the soccer season, when we were interrupted by loud screams and shouts coming from right outside. Patrick, Alex, and Jack walked in, looking extremely handsome in their black and white tuxes. As soon as they saw us, they walked over. "Hey beautiful," Alex said to me, giving me a big hug and wide smile. "Flirt," I heard either Jack or Pat mumble, jokingly. "I can't believe your leaving tomorrow, Adrian," he said, looking me straight in the eyes. "Me neither!" Taylor screamed, "I'm gonna miss you so much!" "I wish I didn't have to leave guys." And I did. I liked all my new friends here at Lakeview, but I missed home too. I grew up in Virginia, I was raised there. The most sad of all, I missed seeing Brandon's face. He was the jock of the school, even in 7th grade. I dated him; before he cheated on me.
