Some Cuts Just Won't Heal

 

Chapter 4

      After a few hours, I woke up. I looked around for a clock. But something caught me eyes. Drew was lying his head on the side of the bed. I leaned closer for a closer look. His face was very calm when his eyes are closed. I reached out and touched his dark brown short curly-ish hair. It was very soft. I found myself blushing as I stared at Drew sleeping. Suddenly Drew blinked his eyes opened. Drew had woken up. "Nora, do you need something? What are you doing?" I had a mini heart attack as my arm was awkwardly still near his face. I thought to myself, "I never realized but, Drew kind of cute when he's sleeping or when he's waking up." "Hello? Nora? Are you there?" I sudden;y snapped back into reality. "Nora? Are you okay?"Drew asked. "Oh, nothing I was just thinking that you were kind of cute." When I realized what I had said I covered my mouth, not knowing what to do or say. Drew stared blankly. Suddenly he grinned, "Well, thank you. That's the first time you didn't complain or even make fun of me." I was blushing, hard. I wasn't sure what to do around him anymore but I realized one thing, I had fallen for Drew once again.
