Excuse me, but how the is 40 faves on a quote going to help you do ANYTHING? If you want to face your fears, you start slowly, even though I'm not quite sure asking him out is an actual 'fear'. Witty can be a place for support, but what does 40+ people do for you? They could hate you for all you know, so why does their fave matter so much to you? This is why this website is getting so horrible.

even if you need motivation, just think about how much you like him, that should be alot of motivation just thinking about it. I hope you face your fears and ask him out, im trying to convince you because you should be with the ones you love or like, so dont not do it if you dont get 40 favorites, so go ahead and do it!! you dont wanna miss your chance:)
