Dear Mary,
I made fun of you. I hurt your feelings. You didn't deserve any
of it. I judged you by what clothes you wore, the way you styled your
hair, and the shoes you walked in. You found out; and that caused
huge problems. Your friend was posting horrible things about me on the internet,
and I realized I was wrong, but I don't think that the way your friend took it
was an appropriate way to handle it. I'm so sorry. I know we talked, and worked
it out, but I still feel bad. Once I got to know you, you turned out to be a really
sweet and nice girl. I was crying that night, and I realized that it really is
wrong to make fun of people, and you can hurt someone very badly just
by making a comment about what they're wearing. So I'm sorry once again.
You should never judge anyone by first impressions. Most of the time they're wrong,
and most of the time they are focusing on the negative of someone's appearance.
Think before you speak. I definitely learned my lesson... the hard way.
