~Wake up in the mornin' feelin'
like P. Diddy. Grab my
gla----~
"UGH!
Kelley changed my alarm again!" I slapped my HTC Aria,
silencing the stupid alarm.
Rising up to look out the window, the
sky was still black with night. My digital clock's numbers
shone in my face, blinding me. Squinting to read the numbers
they said 6:oo a.m.
"It's way to early to get up
for school!" I said as I rolled out of bed and ended
up face first on the floor. "Crap."
My comforter had tangled around my
foot and caused me to face plant into my carpeted floor.
Honestly, I did not plan to eat carpet for breakfast. Looking
around my room, things seemed fuzzy. Blinking a couple of
times, I slowly stuck my finger to my eye and pain suddenly
shot through my eye, causing me to close it pretty fast.
Apparently my contacts had fallen out while I was sleeping,
making me see everything with a light haze around things in my
direct line of vision.
You know what would be cool? If your line of
vision was whatever you color your eyes were. Like blue-eyed
people would see in blue, green-eyed green, etc. Then I would
be seeing two different colors because my eyes are different
colors. My right eye is colored a swirl of
brown and green most people call hazel, my left eye
colored a ghostly baby blue. They trip people out when people
meet me for the first time or when they realize the big
different in color, but I find them mesmerizing. My eyes are my
trademark, they are how people remember me.
Walking away from my mirror, I felt a
sharp pain shoot through my left pinky toe. Scrunching my face
in pain and firmly grasping my foot, I looked down to see what
the executioner of this pain
was.
