You would know that I don't have a best friend that I can tell everything to
You would know that I even thought I get called skinny all the time I'm insecure
You would know that I self injure, but I don't cut; I bite the inside of my mouth really hard; The best part? I can do it in public and no one even notices
You would know that I feel like I'm never good enough for my parents; even thought I got all A's on my report card and one B+
You would know that every time you push me away it makes me bite; and you don't even notice
You would know that I feel unwanted because I was adopted
You would know that I cling because I know what it's like to be forgotten
You would know that in 7th grade my best friend since Kindergarten moved 1,000 of miles away; we never talk anymore and it kills me
You would know that I've never had a boyfriend; or even anyone tell me they like me
You would know that I'm caring to my parents because without them I would be dead and no one would have ever cared about me
You would know that I was malnourished, had a staff infection, and almost half dead when I was brought to America
You would know that I defied the odds; the doctors thought that I would be physically and mentally handicapped because of the way I was taken care of when I was little
You would know that I am always second best when it comes to my friends; they always get noticed first
You would know I'm afraid of rejection
You would know that my walls are constantly up, with everyone, even my parents
You would know that I really do want to change the world, because I don't want anyone to feel the way I do
You would know that my smile is fake
You would know that I just cried writing this...
