Claires POV
i jumped into my honda civic.It was when i put the key into the ignition that i realized my hands were shaking. the sight of Leonard started making me relive all the events of last year. “It’s gonna be fun” Lane told me. “everyones gonna be there. Even lenny.” She winked at me. “yeah, but I really need to study,” I sighed looking donw,” I have a really big test coming up on Monday. And Sunday just isnt enough time to study.” Lane looked down on me and closed my books, “CUHHLAIR! Common, its going to be the party of the year.” I looked up and looked at her pleading eyes, “well fine. But im not staying very long. And im not just going because of leonard. You KNOW I don’t like him.” Lane gave me a skeptical look, “that’s not what hes telling people C. but whatever you say,” she nudged me, “I SWEAR” I said, “the kid doesn’t understand the word NO.”  
 

Josh's Pov

after i exchanged numbers with Drake and Leonard, i went home. i had a load of homework, even though it was my first day of school. Thank god my parents bought me car, to make it up to me for moving all the way here. i had so many books to carry home, so i couldnt possibly  walk a mile home. right when i was about to pull outta my parking spot, another car almost hit me. it was so close to hitting my bumper. i opened my window and screamed WATCH WHERE YOURE GOING.? then the girl stuck her head outt. and it was claire. she looked at me and stuck her middle finger out. Damn, i thought. shes fiesty. i took that as a challenge, and i was ready to take it. (;
