Southern Belle
Chapter 5
I wake up, throw my still straight hair in a ponytail, put on a
light gray tank top and light jean shorts. Then a big smile spreads
across my face because Courage is coming home today.
30 mins later
i get to Glennwood and run up and hug Courage. During the school
year i only get to see Courage like once a week so i'm excited
to bring Courage home. i tell Courage EVERYTHING, anywayss.. after
i finish hugging him i just stand there. lemme tell you some
background on Courage. He is an all black Mustang, i know y'all
think mustangs are wild horses but theres a story behind how me and
Courage united. One day i was riding my old horse and i fell off of
him and then he ran off, so i was walking home and i was kinda far
when all of the sudden Courage sorta started nudging me, i was
afraid to get on him but me being my reckless self i did get on him
and we kinda just bonded. I know this sounds so Cliche but its all
true. Courage is the only person/animal i've ever fully bonded
with.
i was telling Courage the whole Trey and Skye story when Trey
walked up to me.
" What do you want?" i harshly say to him
" nothing trust me, i work here to .. remember ? and boss said
i have to take courage back to your place." he responded while
petting Courage.
" whatever i'll load him up." and i start to walk
away when all of the sudden Trey says
" Lil why do you hate me ?"
" Bud i dont hate you, its just, nevermind, just take Courage
home please."
