i just did that like 2 weeks ago i really like this guy and like i was like i really want to add him sooo bad on facebook and like he doesn't know me or even talk to me and like i added him and he confirmed me :D

just do it, its not like your gonna get down on one knee and propose to him adding someone on facebook isnt really a big deal and he will either not think much of it and accept it or he will be happy that you added him.
