'TURN!' i shouted, fightened. 'I'M TRYING!' connor screamed back. i could see him breathing heavy, hazel green eyes opened wide. then i latched onto his arm and screamed in horror. then, it happened. everything went blank, it was all so white. i cant believe what just happened. hes gone.

now, i'm sitting here. 2 years later. in the pouring rain, under a large oak tree. i can hear the rain dripping on the leaves and sliding off into the forest green grass. my long blonde hair is soaked and all frizzy, my jeans have grass stains on them, sneakers are full of mud and all worn out. i have on a baggy white shirt and over that a large black sweatshirt that is very big on me. the hood is over my head and a little of my hair is falling out. i'm looking down, picking the black nail polish off my short, dull, finger nails. the rain started to suddenly stop. i looked up and saw the last few drops falling but then emerged a big white, fluffy cloud. you know, like the ones you see on TV that you never thought were real? the sun peaked out from behind the cloud. i slowly took my hood off and leaned back against the tall oak tree. i opened my old, brown, messenger bag and took out my notebook that i have been writing in. i had for what seems like forever, but i've only been writing in it for 2 years. you know, forever is a funny word. it can mean different things to so many people. to me, forever is having something that is yours and never letting it go. keeping it until you die. keeping it, forever.
