YO UNG  LOVE
It's water fights in the summer and snowball fights in the winter, playing in the leaves in fall and picking flowers in spring. It's staying up till two in the morning laughing on the phone, even though you both have school the next day and you haven't even finished your homework. It's stealing kisses in the hallway and hoping your teacher doesn't see, and it's sneaking out of class just to meet each other during those long school days. It's keeping track of every month's anniversary, and celebrating with flowers and candy hearts. It's making hot cocoa and cuddling under the covers. It's long hugs and slow kisses. It's feeling his arm creep over your shoulder at the movie theatre, and his eyes on you the whole time even though he paid twenty dollars for your tickets. It's going to the fall carnival together and kissing at the top of the Ferris wheel, and it's holding his hand as tight as you can when he makes you go on the roller coaster (even though you actually aren't scared). It's meeting each other's parents for the first time and the relief you both feel when they approve. It's long walks and holding hands, and eventually, it's driving around in his car with the windows down and the radio up, his arm dangling over your seat. It's that first kiss, the first date, the first touch, the first on so many other parts. It's the butterflies and the smiles and the laughs. And while the feelings may sadly fade, the memories, happily, never will.
