Day 8 - Favorite Internet Friend
Dear "Favorite Internet Friend",
Wait
a minute. I don't have a favorite Internet friend. In
fact, I don't interact with anyone on the Internet
unless I know them personally. I don't really think
it's a good idea to talk to people I don't know
online. I mean, really. Who knows what they could be
after? Their, name, their age, even their gender? That's why
I don't have any Internet friends. So, therefore,
I'm writing a letter to nobody. People need to stop and
think about who they're talking to and what they're doing
online. It's not good to get too friendly with
people you don't know on the Internet, so that's why I
don't have one of you. An Internet friend. Well, I'm sure
that you're likely not a bad person. But I'm not willing
to take the chance. Because maybe you
aren't.
