How to make fades, backgrounds, and borders
First, go to a quote that looks like this
one:
http://www.wittyprofiles.com/quotes/1457768
and look at it. See those codes? Alright.
Go to 'Add A Quote'
See that button? It says 'Source' with a
little
notepad-looking thing to the left of it.
Click on that. If it's blank, put in the exact
following
<br />
Now that you've done that, find the color
background
you want from that quote I showed you up top. :]
Say, if you want a red background, you'll copy
the 'Red Background' code.
Post that in the part in between the / and the > in
the 'Source' part.
It'll look like this:
<br /<div style="background-color:
red;">>
Press 'Source' again, and WOW!
You'll have your background.
Do that with fonts and borders.
Now, for fades. Easy. Just go to this website:
http://www.vex.net/~x/xfade/advanced.html
Open up the 'Colour Picker' and click on the colours
you want.
On the right-hand corner, there will be some weird
numbers/letters.
Like, for the colour light green, you'll
have #00CC00
for your code. Weird, huh. :]
Just post that in the boxes, along with your other colours.
Press 'Fade Me!' and copy the words.
Don't forget to write what you want in faded letters at the
top though.
Paste here, change the font, size, and add anything you
want.
Now,
Have fun. :)
