Her Loyal
Swing
< * 1 * >
Her name was Abigal. She was a normal
child. Her heart was warm and bright. She loved her family, her
friends, her world. Her world was full of magical things. It was
where she went when she wanted to get away. She dreamt of wonderful
times. Her parents were amazed that when she was a child she
hadn’t had one nightmare. Her parents loved her with all
their heart. They sometimes preferred her, over her younger
brother, Andrew.
Andrew was the smartest child
in his class. He was always referred to as the smart one in the
family. He was put under a lot of pressure for that though. He was
expected to grow up and be the child who did brain surgery or
something. Even though he was so young. He was 6, as his older,
more preferred sister, was 8. Oh how he wanted 2 catch up with her.
If the one and only great thing he did in life, was to create some
kind of magic potion, or pill for him to take, that would make him
better, and older than his sister, he would be the happiest boy
alive.
Abigal, on the other hand was
a different story. She loved life; she was admired for that…
even at 8! She had long brown beautiful hair. Her hair was so
strait that not one curl would stay. Even with all the gel and
hairspray in the world! She hated that because she thought so
highly of curls. She had a small, cute, little pointy nose. And her
eyes were the richest of greens. If you looked in her eyes for too
long, you would drown in her beautiful love. She was quite small
and was the shortest in her entire class. She went to a private
school. The school’s name was St. Edward The Confessor, St.
Edward for short. She was given the best education.
Andrew went to public school.
The school he went to was called Front-view Elementary. He was at
the top of his class, though the teachers gave him less attention.
He was tall for his age. He had a small round nose, and shaggy
black hair. He had beautiful brown eyes. They remind me of
chocolate when I look into them even now…
As I sit in this room and
remember their story, I cry. I remember being his best friend, and
her worst enemy. I remember being her best friend at times too, and
being his worst enemy. I was apart of their family at times. I was
also like the devil in the house at times.
Right now, I am here to console
their parents. I was here to remember before everything fell apart,
to be the one who remembers how we were all going to fix this mess.
Also to be the one who wondered why I was even in this mess. I
could have walked away, but I chose to stay. I guess God has some
great plan in my life. I couldn’t pull myself away from this
family. I am here to tell their story, to speak up for them. I
guess this is my job. I am here to defend them. It is as if I was
their guardian angel, except, I was from earth. It’s funny
how things work out like that, me some fragile human, and them
huge, giant angels in the sky. Yet I am the one protecting them!
Well… this is their story.
*People convinced me to put this up!*
thanks to those who did!! ;)
