Life As Me. Part 3
"I think I might be..."Jaimee stuttered.
"Oh Jaim.." She started crying. I just held my
best friend in my arms.
"I'm always going to be here for you. We need to find
out." I told her. She just nodded.
"Do you just want to go home?" I asked.
"I want to go over to Trace's and tell him whats going
on."
"Do you want me to drive you?"
"I got my own car." She answered.
"Are you sure you dont want me to come?" I asked
worried.
"I just need to be alone with him" With that she
gathered all her stuff up. I gave her a hug and she walked
towards her car.
*Mikayla's POV*
I started walking towards the concession stand when I saw him.
Kole. I tried turning away but, he saw me.
"Mikayla!" He called after me. He caught up to me.
"What do you want? I slept with you and you went and slept
with Hayden."
"I didn't sleep with her. All I want is you babe."
he replied. Trying to put his arm around me. I slipped away.
"You made me go behind my best friends back and then you repay
like this. Kole I loved you. I still do. But seeing the way you
hurt my best friend and me. Its not fair."
"I made a mistake. I promise I wont do it
again. I love you Mikayla." I walked away crying. I
had to pull myself together before I walked back to my
friends. I went into the bathroom and cleaned myself up.
I then walked backed to my friends, well just Maddie. Jaimee
was gone. Her towel was too.
"Wheres Jaim?" I asked.
"She went to Trace's"
"Oh, why?"
"I think she wants to tell you herself" Maddie said
with a worried look on her face.
"Oh, should I text her?"
"No" Was all she said.
"Do you want to go?" I asked
"Yeah. I need some time to think about Jaimee. I'm so
worried."
"Can't you just tell me!?"
"I want her to tell you. I can drop you off at Trace's if
you want?"
"Sure sure." We gathered up all our stuff and went to
Maddie's car. She dropped me off at Trace's. I knocked on the
door....
*Maddie's POV*
After I dropped off Mikayla, I went home. I text Garth that
I was going to get cleaned up and then were going to dinner. I
went upstairs in my room grabbed a pair of Hollister jeans with a
brown and pink halter top and pink flip flops. I took a shower
and blow dried and straightened my hair. I put my make up on
grabbed my coach pink plaid purse and was on my
way. I walked over to Garth's and knocked on his
door.
He opened "You look beautiful" and gave me a kiss. He was
wearing brown kakis and a green shirt. I brought out his eyes.
"So do you." I giggled.
"Ready to go?" He asked.
"Where are we going?"
"Its a surprise"
"I dont like surprises."
*Jaimee's POV*
"Trace I have to tell you something..."
"What is it babe?" I could feel the tears in my eyes
forming. He pulled me into a hug.
"Please tell me" he whispered. "I hate seeing
you like this."
"I think.....I'm..." I looked at him.
"Do you know for sure?" He looked at me worried.
"No, I haven't took a test yet."
"Do you want to go now?" he asked.
"I want to wait another week. And have Maddie and Mikayla
here. I already told Maddie, but I haven't told
Mikayla."
"Okay baby. What ever you want. I love you, no matter
what. I have something to give you." He got up and got
something out of his bathroom.
"I know its not much. but I want to give this to you, to
promise you that I will marry you someday." He had tears in
his eyes. I just gave him a hug and kissed him on the lips hard and
whispered against his lips. "I dont want to spend my life with
anyone other than you." We started making out.
*Mikayla's POV*
There was no answer. So I just walked in and walked up to
Trace's room. I saw them making out.
"Eww get a room you two." They both stopped
breathless.
"Well we did until you two came up." Trace giggled. Then
I remembered why I came over here.
"Jaimee, can I pull you aside quickly and then I'll
leave."
"Sure" We left the room. "What is it?"
"Why did you leave the beach earlier crying?
"Did Maddie tell you?"
"She wouldn't tell me. She told me to ask you."
"I think I'm...you know..."
"Oh dear lord. babes I'm here for you. dont worry." I
said pulling her into a hug.
"Do you know for sure yet?" I asked.
"I want to wait another week. And if I do take a test I
want all of my friends to be there."
"Okay hun. I'm here for ya."
"Have you told Maddie about you know...You and Kole?"
Jaimee asked, changing the subject.
"I will. I'm just afraid it'll ruin our friendship. you
know?"
"I wont trust me"
"I hope not. I will eventually. I'll go now. so you and
Trace can get back to bomshicka wowwow." She laughed.
"Love ya girl."
"Just text me" I left.
*Maddie's POV*
"Where are we going?!" I screamed at him.
"Just wait were always there." He said calmly. A couple
minutes later.
"Were here. Close your eyes." I could hear him get out of
the car and open my door.
"Unbuckle" I did. He picked me up. Finally he set me
down.
"Open your eyes" He said. We were on the beach, there was
a blanket set down and candles everywhere.
"I like these kind of surprises" I gave him a quick kiss.
The sun was setting. It was perfect.
"You hungry?" He asked.
"You bet." He opened the a basket that was there and
there was a bunch of fruit and two subway subs.
"I got your favorite" He handed me mine. He ate in
silence. This took my mind off of the whole Jaimee situation, and
the whole Kole thing. Garth was perfect. After we were done eating
we just layed under the stars together cuddling.
"Wanna go back to my place?" he asked.
"Yeah. Thats fine." I said. He pulled me up into a
hug first and kissed me passionately. He pulled away.
"I love you Maddie"
"I love you too baby" I smiled at him. We gathered all
the stuff and carried it back to his car. A red Mustang. We drove
in silence the whole way home. We got back to his place. His
parents weren't home. They were on vacation. I texted my mom saying
I was staying at Garth's house. She said it was fine. We walked up
into his room.
"I dont have anything to sleep in" I said.
"I'll let you have something of mine to wear." He
gave me his t-shirt and boxers. I went into the bathroom and put
them on.
