I looked up. There in front of
me was a really really cute guy:] "Umm. yeahh suree."
He sat down right next to me. I got a new text. From...danny?!
why is my ex-boyfriend texting me?! this oughta be
good.
Em,
I'm moving to Pittsburgh. Oh great! Sadly the guy next to me read the
text too.
"Who's Danny?" He asked.
"My ex-boyfriend."
"Oh. But he's moving here?"
"Yeahh, he lived in California but now i guess a job
transfer for his dad or something."
"Ohh." He looked sad. I tried to lighten the mood.
"So what's your name?"
"Chris. yours?"
"Emily."
"Cute name."
"Thanks, but i'm not really looking for a boyfriend."
He looked sad.
"Oh."
"But we can still be friends!"
"Okay." And now i guess i made a new friend. Someone to
go to while Danny annoys the hell out of me.
"So what's up?" Chris said.
"First day of the school year?!"
"I guess that counts."
"How about you?"
"Oh nothing really." Then the bus pulled up to the
school. I walked to my locker and Chris walked to his. He seemed
nice. Maybe if I really got to know him we could go out. I don't
know, for heaven's sake i just met the guy! I walked to first
period and that went by fast. I was next to my best friend,
Becky. Then the period just flew by. It was the same for second
and third and Becky was in all of those classes! Fourth period
was German and we got our assigned seats. You'll never believe
who i sit right next to.
