As cold and icy snowflakes fell softly on my hair,
A blur of hot tears filled my eyes and blew silently away into the air,
I looked down at my best friend,
Who said she'd be there till the end,
Red was encircling her head,
And I heard the Corner say, “Sorry miss she’s dead,”
She was killed by one stupid mistake,
The woman in the other car decided to make,
She had a drink, the passenger too,
And she told the cop, "It was only one or two!"
The passenger looked at me and said, “I’m so sorry dear,”
But I guess she didn't understand: If they hadn't been drinking I wouldn't be here.
