Away.
Away from home,
Away from you,
Away and with the wind she flew.
Away she ran like
in a race,
Never again to see her
face.
For hours
and hours and hours again,
She wore her shoes till they grew thin.
Then it happened, off they
go.
Never again will they
show.
Not soon
after her feet turn
red.
She's scared, she trips, she hits her head.
In a daze there she layed,
Never to see another day.
Away from home, Away from you,
Away and with the wind she
flew.
