She lay in the snow
wearing only a t-shirt and shorts
her tears frozen to her face
her skin, numb.
the only thing she could feel;
the blood flowing through&out of her body.
She lay in the sun
wearing only a tshirt and shorts
a smile on her face
her skin, warmed by the sun.
the only thing she could feel;
the long-healed wounds of a past
she regrets, and will never go back to.
