the sparkle in your eyes ,
the butterflies you give me .
i thought you would be my prince charming ,
that would catch me when i fall .
i thought we were perfect ,
like everyone had said .
but maybe that sparkle in your eyes ,
was just the light reflecting weird .
and maybe the butterflies ,
were just not enough breakfast .
maybe my prince charming just hasn't come yet .
and maybe we just weren't meant to be
