a long time we just sat and talked.
not about you, not about me, not about us ;
but it seemed like everything else.
it felt like the world stopped spinning
just for that one conversation that felt like forever.
i wish i was still with you that day that
everyone in our science group was absent,
except for you and me. you made me laugh, as always.
and told me your deep dark secret that only your best
friends know, i think i trust you with my life completely.
i've been falling for you since day one, and my
feelings grow more and more as each day goes by.
BUT THEN I REALIZED
that you trusted me with your life too,
in a best friend way, and nothing more.
and right when i thought i was fallen head over heels
you went and ruined it all. you told me you were in love
with h e r .
and it just so happens that h e r is my best
friend.
it wasn't bad enough that i was crushed, but it just had to
be her.
anyone but her, she gets all the guys. and i see the way
she
looks at him, she likes him to but she doesn't want to admit
it.
she knows that i like him and told me she'd never do
anything to come in between that. i hope i can trust you.
and him, because just then i tell him how I feel. that
doesn't
go so well. you're walking out of the room like you've just
been
hit by an on coming car. i don't know what just happened.
everything was perfect, but then I ruined it by that one
sentence.
"well, i kinda
