A Sleepless night;

I toss and turn for hours on end
I cant seem to fall asleep
as the clock strikes ten

I close my eyes for only a moment
but they wont say shut
no, dont speak,
I dont need your comment

Now its eleven oh three
a whole hour has gone by
I just want to sleep,
but in this bed, I just lye

seconds turn to minutes
minutes turn to hours
then the sun starts to rise
my awareness it devours

I turn to my clock
its now seven oh two
a sleepless night
I spent thinking of you
