I look in the mirror and I see a girl yelling to get out.
A girl that needs to be saved
Saved from all the cuts and tears of her heart
Saved from all the pain one has caused on her.
She can’t bare it anymore.
She yells and screams.
She wonders why no one will save her.
She tries to express her feelings,
But nothing seems to work.
She stops the yelling and screaming,
Falls to the ground with tears,
Streaming down her face
Saying “I give up”
Because for some reason she thinks no one will save her
And a thought comes to mind, she has to save herself first
She has to break out of that small dark room she’s
in.
That dark room where she hid one day to get away from
everything
Everything that was possibly causing her to hurt
That dark room that trapped her in
The room where she can’t return to be herself again
She’s lifeless now.
She just waits until she knows what to do.
