I was
.::hanging out::. with my crush and some of his friends.
His //friend\\ Cortez asks me
"Do =you= like Joe??"
I said,, "He's ___xcutex___. I guess I
would go out with
him."
Trying to [[(act)]] cool about it.
Joe's other friend **Damian**,, who's sitting there,,
listening to our
conversation,, says
"HEYJOE!!"
[[(Joe was tossing the football around with someone else and
_wasn't_ in hearing
distance.)]]
I said,, "DAMIAN!!
•NO•ARE YOU TRYING TO KILL ME??" <Cortez> says,, "What are you so afraid of??"
"I'm .::afraid::. of rejection."
Then //Damian\\decides to talk again.
"=Fine=. I'll just
text him."
I ___xconcludedx___ that he was trying to kill me [[(10
MINUTES LATER)]]
Joe,, Cortez,, and Nate are **huddled** together
around Joe's phone. Oh,,
boy. Damian sent the
_text_.
I didn't say •anything• to Joe just in case if
Damian was lying.
I had to go to the <bathroom> and when
I came out,,
.::Him and Cortez::. are standing by the
door. =Joe= says "I'm not avoiding you."
I ___xalmostx___ blurted out,, "Yeah.
But I'm
avoiding you!!"
And so we played [[(vollyball)]] and stuff and
then went to McDonalds.
Damian and Joe's **other** friends had
to go home
So it was justJoe,,
Cortez,, and I.
We were about to _leave_ so we
were saying goodbye.
We •hugged• for like 5 minutes straight. It was
amazing. I can't wait to <see> him
again.
