Because i t h u r t s so much more to keep h o l d i n g o n t o s o m e t h i n g that isn't there. Like you're hanging off a ledge and someone is [j u m p i n g u p a n d d o w n] on your hands but you s t i l l c a n ' t l e t g o. Like when you're little and you're being tickled...you s h o u t f o r i t t o s t o p because it's torture, but then you go back for more, because s o m e h o w being tickled makes you feel [s a f e a n d s p e c i a l] .
