    Catch Me if You Can
    Chapter 32
I couldn't help but hold in my breath as I looked in his gorgeous sea green eyes.
A knot began to tighten in my throat, as I realized how much I missed Harry.
I waited and waited for his gaze to connect to mine, but I was devasted when they never did.
I sucked in a deep breath, gnawing on my lower lip.
Why wasn't he acknowledging my existence?
Had he forgotton about me, and moved on to some beautiful tanned model in Florida?
"Harry! Come join the party!" Gerald grinned, handing him a can of beer.
I watched emotionlessly, as Harry popped open the can, chugging down the beer.
I stood alone like an absolute idiot, as Harry brushed by me, without even taking a short glance at me.
I frowned, as I turned around, just to see him walking away further towards the bonfire.
My eyes began to prickle with tears, as I clenched my fists tightly.
    Harry had forgotten about me.
To avoid creating a scene, and killing the mood of the party, I spun on my heel.
My sandals slid against the sand, as I began to sprint away from the beach.
The further I ran, the smaller the blazing fire appeared to me.
My vision was blurry, as I dug my nails into my skin.
How pathetic was I to hold on to Harry, while he forgot about me?
I didn't even run further than a block, when I heard footsteps catching up with me.
I turned around, as my hair whipped in my face.
I watched, as Harry jogged towards me.
I gulped, as my heart began to beat faster.
    "Excuse me, miss." he panted.
I blinked back a tear, as I croaked out, "Yes?"
Harry reached in his pocket, as I held in my breath.
He took out a necklace, the one that I was wearing tonight.
"You dropped your necklace." he smiled gently, dropping the silver necklace in my palm.
My heart dropped to the bottom of my gut, as I clutched onto the necklace tightly.
"T-thanks." I stuttered out, staring at Harry with disbelief.
Harry gave me another award winning smile, as he ran a hand through his mop of brown hair.
"I should go back to the party now. Do you want to come?" he asked.
I swallowed. Harry really didn't recognize me there before.
I took in a deep breath, almost too mesmerized by his matured looks to speak.
His muscles were a bit toner, as his face became much more manly and muscular.
I shook my head, as I backed up from Harry. "No thanks."
I watched as a worried frown appeared on Harry's face.
Harry licked his lips, before biting down on one.
"Um, would you happen to know someone named Colby around here?" his husky voice spoke.
I felt my eyes slightly widening.
I was glad that he was taking the time to look for me, but I was disappointed that he hadn't recognize me, after everything we had been through.
The moment I saw Harry, I recognized him right away.
But, I guess he never liked me enough to do the same for me.
I sighed, as I shook my head.
"No, I don't know anyone named Colby." I quivered.
Harry shrugged, before giving me a small smile.
"Thanks, anyway. I'll see you sometime."
I nodded, as I watched him turn around and walk back towards the party.
    Gerald's Point of View:
I took a sip of beer from my red cup, as Harry jogged back up on the beach.
"Hey man, where were you?" I asked.
Harry grabbed a cup off the table, taking a sip himself.
"I was just returning some necklace a girl dropped."
I wiggled my eyebrows jokingly. "Really? Who, was she hot?"
Harry punched my shoulder playfully. "I guess she was. I didn't catch her name, though."
I frowned. "What was she wearing?"
    Harry shrugged. "Some white dress?"
My eyes began to widen, as my eyes roamed around the party.
Colby was wearing a white dress... and as of now, Colby was no where in sight.
I groaned, narrowing my eyes at an oblivious Harry.
    I slapped my forehead.
    Harry, you're so stupid.

    Seeing the Impossible
    Chapter 19-
“So did you like shopping with me today?” He asked. I stared at my bag of clothes in my hands. So maybe I bought some things. I can’t help it, they were on sell.
    “Hello young ones!”
I looked over my shoulder to see a lady in her at least eighties looking at us with a warm smile. She was selling dream catchers and what nots.
    “Hello” I said politely.
“Would you like some dream catcher? From the look in your eyes, there seem to be some kind of dark shadows hanging over you and these will keep them away. Or they might even tell you what your future is heading” she said.
I stared at her for a few minutes; she said it like she knew what was happening in my life.
Before I can stop myself I asked, “How much.”
    “For you, twenty” She said.
I took the one with a spider like design in the middle with some feathers handing from it and it was black. Perfect.
“You actually believe in that?” Andre asked as we walked home. I look at the dream catcher in my hands, “I don’t know actually. But I may find out tonight.”
Just as I did I felt sick, nauseate again. What was wrong with me this week? I either see shadow or get headaches.
    “You okay?” Andre asked concerned.
“It’s nothing, here’s my house. I’ll see you later?”
    “Defiantly.”
    “Bye Andre.”
    “Sweet dreams Jill.”
I inhaled a deep breath, not because he called me Jill but the sweet dreams part, something about his voice was off. Like he knew something I didn’t about my dream. But I brushed it off and smiled at him before going into the house. Then, almost as if a cruse was lifted, the headache and my nauseate went away but only to have my mood crushed when I saw a particular shadow at the end of the hall that didn’t belong to my aunt.
I sighed as I thought back to Andre and his words just seconds ago.
    It’s not like I don’t trust him
    It’s that
I don’t know what to do with his trust and possibly what he might be hiding that can change my future.

    Catch Me if You Can
    Chapter 24
It was a few days after the party on the yacht, and everyone was at the beach.
Harry and I got a bit thirsty, so we headed up into a juice bar on the boardwalk.
I sat on a spinning stool, as I took a sip of my iced pink lemonade.
I muffled back a laugh, since we were in the middle of an intense game of "Would You Rather".
"So, would you rather have a jar of peanut butter, or twenty dollars?" I asked.
"A jar of peanut butter." Harry said, without any hesitation.
I frowned. "Why? Couldn't you just buy more peanut butter with twenty dollars?"
Harry slowly nodded. "Yeah, I guess. But, I'm too lazy to go to the store and get it."
I stuck my tongue out at him like a child. "You're ridiculous."
Harry shrugged playfully, giving me a sly smirk.
"Would you rather... date that guy." Harry said, pointing at a man with an orange complexion. "Or, that one." he said, tilting his head to a man with overly gelled black hair, making it look oily.
I scrunched my nose in disgust. "None, Harry. That's gross."
Harry grinned, rolling his eyes playfully. "Come on, you have to pick one."
I gritted my teeth, staring back at the two men.
I stared back at Harry with my lips pouted.
"Come on, Harry. Don't make me pick!" I begged.
    Harry sighed, but nodded.
His expression suddenly went from hopeless to an evil smirk.
"Okay, fine. You don't have to pick." Harry said. "But."
I groaned. There always had to be a catch, didn't there?!
"You have to tell me who you like." Harry challenged.
My eyes widened, as I choked on the lemonade that I was in the process of drinking.
I coughed a few times, before I regained composure.
"What?!" I asked horrifically. "Harry! That's not fair and you know it isn't!"
Harry shrugged innocently. "Too bad, Colby. It's one, or the other."
I dropped my jaw slightly in disbelief.
    Harry was becoming so evil!
"Well? Who is it? There has to be someone." Harry asked seriously.
I gulped, removing eye contact with him.
Was he really going to make me tell him that I liked him?
"No one." I managed to sqeak.
Harry ruffled my hair, which I returned to him with a glare.
"There has to be someone. Who is it?" Harry asked.
    "No one." I lied, again.
"If you don't stop giving me bullshit, I'll start guessing." Harry warned.
I remained silent, as Harry gave out a loud huff.
    "Is it Alex?" he asked.
I snickered. Alex? He was dating Addison!
"I guess not, then." Harry paused. "Gerald?"
I let out a laugh on that one. Gerald? Please! He is best friend!
Harry began to become impatient. "Jason? It's him, isn't it?"
I scrunched my nose on that one. Jason and I went out on one date. The one where Harry and Dani had to ruin it.
"That's it. That's all the guys you actually talk to." Harry threw his hands up in the air.
I gulped staring down at my drink.
    Harry forgot someone important.
    Himself.

    Catch Me if You Can
    Chapter 20
The past two weeks have been better than ever.
Jason and I never went on a second date, since we both figured we weren't meant for each other.
Addison, Gerald and I have been getting along perfectly fine, I literally saw those two everyday.
And, Harry and I have been on neutral terms.
We saw each other every other day, usually at the beach.
I never stopped liking him, though.
I would never be able to fall out of love with his cheeky grin, eccentric blue eyes with green specks, and his humor that never failed to make my day.
But, it was now July 23rd, midway through summer.
Today was also the day I finally got to meet the infamous Lyssa, the girl Gerald always spoke about.
"Are you ready for the party?" Addison asked, as she applied a coat of mascara, staring intently at the bathroom mirror.
Addison had come over to my house earlier today, so we could both get ready for the little party that Gerald was going to throw for Lyssa.
The party was going to be small, just for all of Gerald's friends that Lyssa knew; I was an exception.
The party was going to be on a yacht, which was courtesy of Gerald's uncle.
I nodded, as I admired the way my new tan looked agaisnt my violet blue romper.
I fluffed out my loose curls, as I slipped on a pair of white sandal wedges.
Addison drove to the beach south of Los Angeles, where Gerald's uncle's yacht was.
From the parking lot, we could see that most of our friend's cars were already there, meaning we had to where late.
We hurriedly rushed up the stairs of the yacht, and onto the dock.
There was a transparent screen door, where we could see our little group of friends laughing and taking shots.
Harry's eyes met mine was Addison and I walked in the yacht.
I blushed when he gave me a small smile.
I noticed that he wasn't with Dani.
My eyes rotated around the room, searching for bleached hair, but it was no where to be seen.
    Dani wasn't at the party.
"Oh, they're here!" we heard Gerald calling.
A tall, beautiful brunette stepped out, with her sparkling brown eyes glistening.
"Addison! It's been months!" she cheered, wrapping her arms around Addison.
She pulled away, and gave me a gentel grin.
"And I'm guessing you are Colby, huh?"
I chuckled nervously, as I nodded. I was shy when it came to meeting new people.
"It's nice to finally meet you." she sweetly smiled, giving me a quick squeeze.
Now that everyone who was invited showed up, we began to take off into the ocean.
Everyone rushed out to the deck, where we got a clear view of Los Angeles.
As everyone stripped into their swimwear and jumped in the pool that was on the deck, while others tanned on the sunchairs.
I went to the kitchen, searching for something to drink.
"What are you doing here?" a angelic voice asked.
I looked up from the fridge, and found Lyssa smiling down at me.
"I'm just looking for a drink." I explained, taking out two cans of Coke, one for her and one for me.
"Thanks." she nodded, popping open the can.
We lounged in the kitchen, as I found out that she was a year older than Gerald, and wanted to become a singer.
"So, tell me, what's this about you and Harry?" Lyssa asked out of the blue.
I choked on my soda, as my face flushed.
    "Well..."

Santa was checking his list for the second time and when he was just on a name called Maddison, an elf named Albert came rushing through the doors.

"Yes Sir!" Santa quickly made his way to the toy making section. To hear Albert. "ALL ELVES TO THE MEETING ROOM NOW! SANTA WANTS TO TALK TO EVERYONE ABOUT A VERY SICK REINDEER!" Albert announced.
Once the announcement was done it was Christmas Eve night. Time to deliver the presents. Rudolph was still sick though!

    Catch Me if You Can
    Chapter 17
I mixed myself a Shirley Temple drink in Jason's extended kitchen. while everyone was out in his backyard swimming.
My stomach wasn't feeling too well, especially after my dramatic scene with Harry.
It also didn't help that he was cuddling with Dani on the sunchairs.
I watched the two of them with envy, as Dani giggled at something Harry had whispered to her.
How could Harry act so perfectly fine, while I was boiling with anger?!
"Are you planning to pour that whole thing in?" someone asked from behind.
My heart skipped a beat in surprise, as I spilled some cherry flavoring on the marble floor.
It was then that I had realized I literally poured half of the cherry flavoring in my drink.
I flustered in embarassment when I realized that Jason was staring at me with an amused smile.
I quickly grabbed some paper towels, and wiped the white marble floors down.
"S-sorry, I'll try to clean it." I muttered, pushing the paper towel's down hard.
Jason chuckled, before bending down towards me, helping me clean the mess.
"I think it's clean now." he chuckled, helping me up.
"Yeah, sorry about that." I sheepishly apologized, rubbing the back of my neck.
Jason shrugged, as he threw the red stained paper towels in the trash.
"Here, you can have my drink." I offered, holding out the cup of red liquid.
Jason chuckled, as he shook his blonde, dampened hair.
"No, thanks. I think you overdosed on the cherry." he teased.
I rolled my eyes playfully, taking a large gulp of the drink.
I made a face at how strong the cherry flavoring actually was.
Jason laughed again teasingly at my scrunched up expression, as I poured the remaining of the drink down the drain.
Suddenly, a head of floppy brown hair appeared in the kitchen, making my heart jump.
He stared back and forth at Jason and I curiously, opening the fridge.
"I'm just getting something to drink for Dani and I." he muttered under his breath.
I watched as Harry fumbled in the fridge.
He took out two cans of beer, before slamming the fridge shut.
He glared at Jason for a second, before returning a blank look at me.
He cursed under his breath, stalking out of the kitchen.
"You like him, don't you?" Jason asked, as soon as Harry reappeared in the backyard, outside.
My face grew red and hot.
    I shook my head. "N-no." I stuttered.
Jason stepped closer to me, as my eyes flickered down to his bare chest.
"Then, I hope you don't mind me taking you out to dinner tonight?" he asked, grinning.
I gasped, as my breath shortened.
I stared back outside, where I saw Harry and Dani sharing a kiss.
My heart clenched, as I stared back at Jason.
    "Why not?" I asked, determined.
Jason's grey eyes lit up, as he reached out a hand.
His cold fingers brushed the hair out of my face, as he smiled.
"Then it's a date." he announced.
I nodded. It was a date.
    My first date.
