haha okay! but i'll make the names up. so i had a crush on bob a few years ago. and bob had a crush on me too. but we weren't dating. he came to my house a lot, so we were always together. but i wanted to go out with him, and my friends dared me to ask him out, so i did. but bob said no because he wasn't ready to go out. i still liked him though. and i didn't give up on him. then, (i live in japan) on the day of the big earthquake on march 11th, i texted him and told him "if we die, i want you to know that i have a crush on you" and bob texted me back and said "ok..." i felt really sad so i gave up on him. so then, we just became best friends. i set bob up with my best friend anna because i knew she liked him ( i wasn't jealous because i was dating jake at that time) but anna broke up with bob, and jake broke up with me. and that was fine. i didn't like jake anymore, i didn't like bob anymore. but today, bob asked me out. and me and bob are still best friends, i don't have a crush on him anymore, i don't have feelings for him that way. but he's my best friend, and i don't want to hurt him. but at the same time, i don't want to say yes. so what should i say to him?
(haha, does it make sense now? i hope it does. if you want me to clear some parts up then just ask me questions please. i just really want to know what to do) reply

okay, so you said i could come to you for help so... yeah. well, okay so i had a crush on this guy like a couple of years back. and he liked me back. but we weren't dating. he came to my house a lot and we were like... well i liked his company and he liked mine. then my friends dared me to ask him out, so i did. and he said no because he wasn't ready. then, i live in japan, so the day of the humongous earthquake on march 11th, i texted him and said "well, if we die, you should know that i have a crush on you" and he was like "ok..." and he didn't say anything. so i was really sad, but i found this other guy, and i started going out with that other guy. but we broke up. meanwhile, the guy i used to like was dating my best friend because i set them up. and i wasn't jealous or anything, i was completely fine with it. and then we became best friends. so we would joke around and everything. but today, he asked me out. and like... i don't want to go out with him. he's my best friend and everything so i don't want to hurt his feelings... but i'm not gonna say yes because i don't have a crush on him. so like... what should i do? if that doesn't make sense, i'll explain it again with names so it makes more sense if you want! reply
