Yeah. I've been learning French since kintergarden. Not all French schooling, though--just immersion. I've actually never taken an extra-curricular lesson for any language. I plan to during college/uni or something, though.(:

Yeah, I can get the gist of short Spanish texts, too. (I don't have the patience for longer ones.)

I wouldn't worry about your accent too much. My entire school (all of us that are in French classes anyway) speak with pretty lazy accents, and we all understand each other for the most part. ;)

Just dive right into one! I remember I spent three or so months going hardcore (not that hardcore, but it felt like it) at learning German. I soon after stopped because it wasn't my thing at the time and moved onto something else. I lost nothing from that experience. And I can still count to 12! lol

I know French, so I can say it's not toooooo complicated—though I've been learning it for 11-12 years, so maybe I'm bias,lol—especially if you already know other romance languages.(:
I've always wanted to learn Korean, too, haha. It's a neat language.(:
