Dear Daddy,
Since you left life's been different.
I've had 2 heart breaks.
My first boyfriend, my first "I love you" that he never actually meant.
My first kiss.
My first back stab, by my best friend.
I've failed classes since you've left.
I became a cheer leader, my team made it all the way this year.
I've also learned a few things since you left..
I've learned not to drink alcohol; look what it did.
I learned how to appreciate mom more, I know she loves me even if she doesn't show it.
I learned to help people who are going through the same thing as me & to not only care about myself.
But most of all, I learned no one stays forever, & dying is just apart of life.
You were really sick Daddy. & for a long time I was upset that you died because I felt that you left me, cause you didn't want me anymore.
But that's not it at all. I know it killed you to leave, & it killed me to watch you leave.
I know it's gonna be hard, being 13 with no dad.
There's gonna be a lot of things that I'm gonna miss out on.
But I can still tell all my friends that I had an amazing daddy, & he's standing right here, even though you can't see him.
I know I'll be okay, eventually.
I love you dad.
& I miss you.
