Fail for not having a doctor as a dad. :) The heart shifts to the left when it beats, but in a corpse it may be centered. reply

No, you're fine. A lot of other people were being rude about it though. It's just a quote. I thought it was a pretty good idea. Even if it is more centered than people say, the quote is about feeling the heartbeat which is usually on the left. reply

Don't try to get smart with me or all go all scientific on you. Haha. My dad is actually a doctor. He says that the heart does at times migrate to the center but it is based slightly to the left. It also pulses towards the left when it expands. It is also not perfectly shaped, with the largest parts on a left. Ever dissected a heart in class? reply

my dad is a doctor i think he knows best. he says that if you have a rare condition all of your organs can be backwards, but we're talking EXTREMELY rare. reply
