She doesn't wear four inches of makeup on her face
she likes wearing sweatpants
& likes having her hair up in a ponytail, rather than in her face,

When you like someone,
everyone tells you that you should tell them because maybe they like you too.
They don’t realize how incredibly hard it is,

I walk around the school hallways and look at the people.
I look at the teachers and wonder why they're here;
if they like their jobs or us.
And, I wonder how smart they were when they were thirteen,
not in a mean way, in a curious way.
It's like looking at all the students and wondering
who's had their heart broken that day,
and how they are able to cope with having three quizzes
and a book report due on top of that,
or wondering who did the heart breaking, and wondering why.

i hope someday somebody wants to hold you for twenty minutes straight and that's all they do. they don't pull away. they don't look at your face. they don't try to kiss you. all they do is wrap you up in their arms and hold on tight, without an ounce of selfishness in it.

She moves with grace, even when she stumbles and trips. You'll hear a break of laughter as she smiles, an outburst of noise. i can't tell if you want too. You so amazingg...you give me

I can't help but think somewhere inside you, I'm there. Somewhere between liking me and loving me and everything in the middle, you got scared. The tingling and the butterflies terrified you. You didn't know what could and couldn't happen. Call me crazy, but I think you're with her because you know she doesn't have the same effect on you like I do. Like each time you touch her, you don't feel a thing. Every kiss means nothing,and you hold her hand just to look cute. But me, I think I mean a lot more to you than meaningless kisses andempty feelings. I don't think you can run away from that feeling forever. I think you're just going toeventually have to be okay with the fact that I make your stomach flip and your heart skip. Eventually you'llrealize it's the best feeling in the world. Hopefully it doesn't take too long to come back to me, like old times.

i'd love to tell you that everything's going to be okay. that's what everyone told me, but it's just not. you can stay here or you can go back; either way, it's going to suck. but i figure, at least when it sucks, you know you're alive. i guess what i'm trying to say is, it's okay when everything sucks. it means you're somewhere.
