memories come & go
but this one stays
it will haunt me forever
for the rest of my days
just look at it now
picture if you could
a baby girl crying
cause she knows she should.
a daddy with eyes glowing red,
picked up the baby girl from her bed
stormed out of the room,
with fury in his eyes
the baby girl hears her mothers haunting cries
she watches them fight, she begs them to stop
but her little baby cries are never enough
a sound like a crack
came from the smack
that knocked the baby's momma onto her back
she sees the baby girl crying & such
begs her to stop , but the sight is too much
a knock on the door scares them to death
cops with guns and bulletproof vests
take the daddy against the wall & there he confessed
to everything he's done , his life was a mess
but then the memory fades away
in the back of my mind , with the rest.
