Her presentation made me realize that theres a whole world beyond you & me. There are people out there who are struggling to survive, fighting for their futures. In West Africa, there are young girls working as child prostitutes. I cannot even express how wrong this is, but it can be changed and prevented. All these girls want is an education. We take so many things for granted, and want more, when some people have nothing. We need to open our eyes and realize that there are people who aren't as lucky as us. We are lucky to live like we do. Some people aren't as lucky. Ghandi once said, "Be the change you want to see in the world". Katie's organization, More than Me, is trying to get more votes to win $250,000 to send young girls in West Africa to school. Each and every single one of you can help take young girls lives from negative to positive. Together, we can take young girls off the streets and into schools.
