i've been in a similiar situation. I've had 3 friends almost take their lives. Believe me suicide isnt the answer, even if it feels like things cant get better, they always do. try talking to him and telling him how you feel, vent to a friend, give him the note you wrote.
just remember there are people who love you, you may not think so but they are there. and they always will be.
just remember things will always get better.

girl same thing happened to me, never give up. after about 8 months him and i worked out perfectly and are great right now even though he never wanted to see me, or talk to me i made a point to see him and let him know i was there, and it worked he trusts me know again. dont give up!
