To write love on her arms and tear out her heart. The world that she has built up has fallen apart. Crying and screaming she lays in the dark. Cold and lonely she falls asleep, waiting for the pain to start to seep she’s scared of the darkness so deep. So she runs far away from the life she once knew never thinking all of this through, though she hopes it will be over soon. She looks to the sky and asks herself why, why they ever said goodbye. She balls up her fists and looks at her wrists wondering how she ever ended up like this. The bridges are all burned and the pages have been turned yet no lesson has been learned. She thinks there’s no one to help when she screams or yelps, so she asks no one for help. She cries herself to sleep at night wishing things would turn out right, but all is dark in her sight. But then as she begins to lose all hope, and finds no means to cope, and her emotions are at the end of it rope. There is a light at the end and then she begins the road to mend the broken heart that she always had to defend. Now she forgets the past and walks away from the pain fast, and lets the moment last. She is free, and she thinks to herself this is how I want to be!
