My Happy Ending
Chapter One
My heart skips a beat. I can't believe it! He thinks that I am beautiful? I must be dreaming. A short chuckle breaks through my thoughts. I immediately see his white smile and laughing grey eyes staring into mine.
Oh how rude of me, I am sure you are wondering who this mysterious man is. I'll be glad to tell you! Well, his name is Adam and about 10 months ago I got the honor to become his girlfriend. (To this very day that fact amazes me). Adam is the kind of guy that girls will crush on from Kindergarten until they die of old age. He is just absolutely gorgeous and as sweet as sugar. (As you might have guessed, I was one of those girls:P). To be honest, I didn't really notice him at first. But when I did-boy was I a goner! I still remember the first time we met......
It was a Friday during the fall of 4th grade. Recess was over and like usual I had spent too much time on the monkey bars so I sprinted toward the kids that had begun to line up only to collide with another kid doing the same. As I was brushing myself off I caught his bright eyes staring at me and like a total girl I blushed. That was the first time he left me speechless. It was then that I realized the searing pain coming from my calf. We both looked down at the same time. Awaiting our glances was a deep gash covered in dirt. As I opened my mouth to cry, I was surprised to find arms around me lifting me from the ground. Adam had stepped forward and taken every amount of strength to lift me with his thin arms. I could tell that he was struggling, but with a deep breath and grunt he set his eyes on the goal and carried me all the way to my teacher and stepped right into my heart.
