I would pick my best friend over a boy anyyyday! But right after I yelled at him I was just gunna give up and she told me to go for it... she was like, " Yeah, I like him and all but it doesn't make a difference if he doesn't like me? Sounds goooood. I love listening to stories, just not my own that play in my head over and over hahah~
Anywas, so we hide together and we were just talking. Not talking about serious stuff just, conversation, and it probably meant absolutely nothing to him but sinse we were behind a tree under the stars just out of the light of the fire, it felt.. good? I guess? haha
Okay, so this guy is kinda... naosidalksdo-ish. hahah if that makes any sense? Sometimes you think he's flirting with you but he's just being nice or sometimes he's just being nice and he's flirting but I have no idea what's going on right now... my second class of the day is research methods and we sit right next to each other and talk the wholeeee time because our teacher is very likely to drop dead any second, she's like 9,000 years old. Again, we just talk about stuff, just anything hah. and the first day of school when he walked by he shut my locker when I was taking books out so now we have a war going on and I go to his locker everyday and try to shut it. TRY being the key word haha.
Anyways, we don't text alot but when we do it lasts up until I tell him I have to go to bed and I get an, "Okay. Goodnight Joy:)" AHH he's so stupid. I can't read him what so ever. Also, we just had one of those big dances last weekend and at the end I hugged him and left so he texted me like, 2 minutes later and was like, "Thanks for the hug:) even though im all sweaty and gross hahaha" He was also like, you're a really good dancer! even though I can't dance for ... so he says all of this stuff but then he doesn't seem like he likes me in person sometimes? Sometimes he talks to me a lottt when we're out but then other times im ignored.
Seriously SOOO confused and I kinda forgot to tell you this tinnnny detail... my best friend likes him to but he doesn't like her like that... it always upsets her when I tell her that he's doing this stuff so I just needed to talk to someone else. Thank you. reply

Ohh God, so this is all going to come out at once... ANYWAYS,
So there's this guy that ive liked FOREVER. Of course he has to be the most popluar, attractive, nicest, 99 average,jock on the planet and everyone, even the teaachers call him the golden child,so everyother girl likes him... So last year we were friends but we never really talked so kinda like... aquaintences? lmao. Anyways, (you'll find that I say anyways a lot) one day he came up to me in the hall and started talking to me and asked for my number and I was obvs jumping out of my skin cause this was the guy i liked... So we started texting and he would put smiley faces and a bajillion hahahah's on everything and just kinda hinting that he liked me... Also, there was this dance coming up and he was texting me the day before and he was like,
him- hey I gotta ask you something.
me- you can ask me anything:)
him- good:) How do I tell a girl I like her?(he's never had a girlfriend before)
me- well, if you really like her just ask her to the dance or dance with her tomorrow night.
him- okay thanks, that helps alot:)
So the next night he didn't show up to the dance so I texted him and was like, get your to the dance and find your girl! (realllllllly hoping this whole thing was about me) but he didnt answer so I got kind of confused considering he was all excited. Then the next night he texted me and was like, im sooo sorry i didn't come to the dance or answer you, my grandma had to come to the hopital and I wanted to see if she was alright. By the way, I was really hoping I could have danced with you:)
"LAKNSOJLKJDF YAYAYAYYAYAYAYYAYAYAYYAY AKSLKDFLKJOSIHDF" is what was going on in my head at that moment hahaha
So we were on REALLY good terms then spring break came and I went to florida and he stayed in New York and my mom doesnt like me to use my phone a lot when we are on vacation so I had it off for like, a week. When I turned it on there was a picture of him and his friends at the beach with the caption "Really wish you were here!" and another one of a cow (because i LOVVVVVVEEEEEEEE cows) that was like, this reminded me of you:)
ANYWAYS, we didn't talk for a week or so cause my moms insane then we got back from spring vacation and I heard that he's semi-ish-kinda- talking to another girl. He started to not text me so much and then one day him and the other girl hugged in the hall way but whenever I asked him if he liked her he would deny it so I was getting really of that he couldnm't tell me the truth. Especially since this other girl has been one of my really good family friends sinse like, kindergarden. So I sent him a text that just let everything out and I was like, "Just because every girl likes you doesn't mean you can have all of them. Wake up and smell reality because in the real world, you can only have or SUPPOSED to have ONE girlfriend. Pick one. Stop being a douche bag and open your eyes cause you just shoved a knife into a million girls backs. Including mine." And he sent me like a trillion im so sorry! I didn't mean to! Im really sorry for what i did! I understand it you never forgive me, kinda messages even though I ignored all of them. Through all of this I was INSANELY at the whole but I still liked him... why? because he's perfect, and sometimes the good outways the bad....
So, about a week after I sent it him and the girl stopped talking but he was still being awkward around me. His best friend told me that he was really hurt by the message but he really deserved a smack in the face to get back to reality and thats exactly what I did... After a while we started to be friends again and talk but not like "flirt" talk. Then summer came and he would invite me to the beach with all his friends and stuff just as friends. So the summer goes on and just at the end he invites me to a fire at his house and we play man hunt and we hide together.
