Something like this happened to me. A guy told my best friend that he was about to die and he had cancer. He meant EVERYTHING to her. She was already suicidal and he did this to her. To make things worse he said he was going to kill himself and he no longer had nothing to live for because he loved her and she already had a boyfriend and they were both the happiest couple and he just felt like a third wheel. He didn't come to school for a week just to pull the prank. My Best friend was so upset, she wouldn't smile, or talk (for her that's a big thing). She started cutting. One of the times she was bleeding so much I had to come over to help her. Turns out it was a joke. Like WTF he tried to manipulate her to like him by saying he was about to die. I don't even know why this affected me so much but it did maybe it's the fact that a lot of people close to me have died because of cancer or the fact that my best friend,the only reason i'm here, Got so hurt.

Please stop and know you aren't alone. Even though right now it may seem like no one cares, but maybe.... maybe your just looking the wrong way. Look at all the people who don't even know you and are trying to help. Here i am a random stranger trying to do anything to help, so i'm pretty sure people out there do care about as for the cutting, i cut too so it would be hypocritical of me to give you any advice on that matter. Just remember it gets better.
