honestly, i think you should try to let go. If there is this much drama and confusion, a relationship between you two will most likely not be a healthy one. There will be a lot of fighting and trust issues, especially since you dated his best friend. If you really believe that it could work out then keep trying. but my advice is to put reality in front of your fantasy for a second and decide whether or not it would work out in the end. ♥ hope I could help
