"No, you can't like me!" I turned around and started walking away tears began to drip from my eyes.
He grabbed my wrist and pulled me back to him, I kept my head down so he couldn't see the tears that wouldn't stop falling.
"Carter, what's wrong?"
I didn't say anything.
"You can tell me anything, I'm here for you", he added.
"You can't like me, because then I might start liking you and eventually you will end up hurting me, just like he did. Then it will all happen again," I cried grabbing my wrist
and revealing a scar.
He grabbed my wrist and pulled my jacket down, hiding the scar from his view.
He lifted up my chin. "I'm not going to hurt you Carter", he softly said wiping the tears off of my face.
