   I sat next to Zayn and we talked a bit.
   “So what are you doing traveling to England alone?” he asked
   “well im visiting my dad” I said.
   “oh that’s cool, what about your mum?”
   “There divorced she lives in Oregon” I said.
   I’ve never really talked much about my parents divorce.
   “Oh sorry for bringing it up” he said apologetically
   “No, its fine, I haven’t really talked about it in a while” I said
   “Yeah, well im gonna go check on Niall he tends to get cranky when he doesn’t get food” he said I laughed and he walked over to Niall

   “Hello” I said looking at his eyes, that were looking straight at mine, then he looked at my arm.
   “what’s that?” He asked, I looked down at my arm, I was wearing a long sleeve shirt but part of my arm was showing my bruise from Rick.
   “nothing.” I said pulling down my sleeve, he could see I didn’t want to talk about it.
   “Okay, well when your ready I would lie to know what happened” he said nicely.

   “so love, what’s your name?” said a guy straight brown hair, we were all sitting next
   to each other. Then I looked around And noticed that everyone was looking at me
   waiting for me to answer.
   “im Skyler Lynn, and you are?” I asked
   “im Louise Tomlinson! And this is Kevin!” he said pulling out a toy pigeon. I laughed. I looked at light brown hair guy with brown eyes.
   “What’s your name?” I asked him
   “Liam Payne” he said taking out his hand for me to shake, I shook his hand
   “And what’s your name?” I said to the blue eyed blonde
   “Niall Horan” he said in a cute Irish accent
   “And who are you?” I asked the guy with black hair.

   He saw my face full of confusion
   “Im in that boy band named One Direction” he said looking at me.
   “Oh yeah! I knew your name sounded familiar!”
   “Yeah” he said laughing
   Than I put my headphones in and fell asleep.
   “Well hello sleepy head” Harry said.
   “oh hi Harry, what are you guys doing?” I said
   “Playing with nurf guns, wanna play?” he asked
   “Sure!” I said he handed me a nurf gun and I started going after one guy with blonde hair and cute blue eyes.
   “Hey! Why are you just after me?” said the blonde with a Irish accent.
   “cause you’re he easiest one to get!” I said laughing
   I felt something hit the back of my head I turned around and saw a guy with straight brown hair hide behind a seat. I laughed and slowly moved over to the seat.
   “Got Ya!” I said shooting the nurf gun at him.
   He laughed and tried getting me but he was all out.
   “Oh crap!” he said
   “Ha-ha sucker!” I said running off do get a black haired guy with a earring.
   After a while everyone ran out and we stopped playing the game.

   Chapter 8
   I started walking and waited for them to announce that the plane for England was ready, I looked down at the plane ticket it said VIP witch meant that I was gonna be in a really good seat.
   They announced the plane to England, I got up and gave the lady my plane ticket and walked onto the plane. I found my seat and put my luggage away and sat down. In the VIP area of the plane there was barely anyone except these five guys coming my way. They looked a little familiar but I couldn’t find out were I’ve seen them before. They sat about to seats up above me except one of the guys with curly dark brown hair and pretty green eyes.
   “hello” he said as he put his luggage away
   “hi” I said
   “What’s your name, love?” he asked
   “Skyler Lynn, you look very familiar but I cant put my finger on it” I said
   “Wait, you don’t know who I am?” he said
   I shook my head in confusion
   “I don’t” I said
   “Well love, im Harry Styles” he said smirking showing off his dimples.

   Chapter 7
   We wok up at 9:00 am and I had to leave at 1:00 pm, we went downstairs to go to the kitchen and had toast and nutella. After breakfast I went to o take a shower, after the shower I put some shorts, some toms and a Abercrombie shirt on. I curled my hair and put some mascara, eyeliner and pink lipstick. It was about 10:30 so we still had time to hang out so we went to a skateboarding park, before I met Avery I knew nothing about riding a skateboard but she taught me and now I know how to skateboard. We started talking and skateboarding and then we went to the mall and then it was 12:30 so we headed back to Avery’s house and got my
   bags and went in her car, we drove down to the airport.
   “im gonna miss you so much!” I said
   “me too!” she said hugging me, I hugged her back. We got out of the car and she helped me grab my luggage.
   “Thanks Avery, all call as soon as I can” I promised her
   “Okay love ya” she said
   “Love you too, bye” I said giving her one last hug

   Once we got to Avery’s house, we went to her room and just hung out for the whole day. We weren’t gonna see each other for the whole summer, so today we had to spend as much time together as possible.
   Avery grabbed her computer and went on youtube, every week we make a youtube video and its me singing and her playing the guitar, and today we had to do one because we
   Wont be seeing each other all summer. We picked It will rain to sing and instead of playing the guitar she decided to play the piano.

   After the song we logged off of youtube and we went for a walk down to star bucks we got a mocha frappe and left at the end of the day we watched a film Paranormal Activity, we love that movie, through the middle of the movie we fell asleep.

   I was In the forest, it was dark. I couldn’t see anything, nothing at all.
   “I see you” someone whispered
   I started running, then…
   I sat up, and looked around, thank god! It was just a dream.
   “are you okay!? I herd you screaming” she said worried
   “yeah im fine just a bad dream” I said
   “okay, do you want to talk about it?” she asked
   “No, im fine” I said and got up to go to the bathroom, I looked in the mirror, my black eye was going away.
   I was relieved, I really didn’t want a black eye when I go to England to see my dad.
   “do you want anything to eat?” Avery asked
   Actually food sounded pretty good right now.
   “Yeah that would be great, thanks” I said
   And she left to the kitchen, I fallowed her.
   “well two more days and your going to England, are you sure you still want to go?” she asked
   “Yeah im sure” I said
   Okay well my mom said that your black eye should be gone before you go to England” she said as she flipped a pancake.
   “Okay that’s good” I said
   The next day I got up and looked at my phone no text messages, no calls. Why hasn’t my mom wondered were I am already? Why hasn’t she called?
   Right then Avery walked in.
   “Hey your up! Are you okay?” she asked
   “Yeah im fine I just don’t know why my mom hasn’t called me yet” I said
   “yeah well I don’t know, but your leaving tomorrow so do you want me to go to your house with you and grab your stuff?” she asked.
   “Yeah thanks Avery, for everything” I said
   "no problem” she said.
   And we left. When we got to the house, we knocked on the door. My mom answered.
   "were have you been young lady?” said my mom
   “I was at Avery’s” I said
   “Why didn’t you come home?” she asked with no emotion
   “no reason, I just came by to get my stuff for England” I said walking inside the house.
   “okay” my mom said
   I went upstairs and grabbed my stuff and went downstairs.
   “I love you mom” I said she turned around.
   “I love you too.” she said and gave me a hug.
   “beware of Rick” I whispered in her ear.
   She looked confused, then she looked like she was starting to put things together, than I left.
   Before I shut the door I said
   “bye mom” and I went to the car with Avery.

    “I cant believe this!” Avery said.
    I couldn’t earthier, why would he do that? How did he et I my house? What am I going to tell my dad? I can tell my dad. I just cant, before I go to England my black eye will be gone and everything will be okay…eeliest that’s what I thought.
    “im gonna go get you some ice!” she said and ran to the kitchen. My arm started burning in pain, I lifted up my sleeve and looked at it and it was all bruised up.
    Avery walked back into the room and handed me the ice, I put it on my cheek. After a while my cheek was all numb and it didn’t hurt anymore, I told Avery everything that had happened.
    “okay thank you Avery, I owe you one” I said and laid down on the couch, and fell asleep.

    Cha pt er 4
    “Rick? How did you get in here? Why are you here?” I asked. I was scared. why was he in my house? I didn’t let him in.
    “I just wanted to see you, see how you were doing” he slurred, he was drunk. I could smell the alcohol in his breath .
    “umm…well im fine thanks but u should go, all call you a cab” I said walking him to the door.
    “don’t tell me what to do young lady!” he slurred grabbing my wrist and holding it as tight as he could I looked at him.
    “Ow! Rick that hurts! Let go!” I yelled, then right then before I could even register what happened he slapped me, he let go of my wrist and I fell to the ground.
    “you don’t talk to an adult like that! Especially me!” he slurred getting a bit wobbly in the knees. I started to scoot away from him holding the cheek that he had slapped.
    “why are you doing this? What’s wrong with you?” I asked in shock. “what did you just say!?” he slurred and kicked me In the shin. I curled up in pain. I was trying to think of a plan to get out of the house.
    “you’ve been a very bad girl, Skyler” he slurred and got closer to me. The front door was right behind him.
    I scooted away from him and stood up weakly.
    “were do you think your going?” he asked and he grabbed my shoulders and threw me, I hit the shelf that was close to the door. I slowly crawled to the front door, I grabbed the door knob, I quickly opened the door and stumbled out. I looked inside and he was running after me I quickly shut the door and ran to my car.
    Then I realized I don’t have my keys
    “Ugh! Crap!”
    I checked my pocket, I had my phone in it.
    “yes! Thank god!” I said
    Than I called Avery and weakly ran up the street to go to Avery’s house. The phone went straight to voicemail.
    “crap!” I yelled
    I was almost to Avery’s place. When I got to Avery’s I knocked on her front door. She opened it, her eyes were wide in shock.
    “Skyler!!! Are you okay? What happened!?!?” she asked worried
    “can I come in?” I said in a weak whisper
    “Yes, of course!” she said and I walked inside and she let me sit on the couch.
    “What happened?” she asked
    “Nothing.” I said with no emotion
    “Skyler, I know when something is wrong and I could seesomeone hurt you, you have a black eye” she said and I felt my cheek it hurt.
    “Rick” I said
    “Rick?? Your moms boyfriend did this to you!?”
    She asked. I nodded.

    It has been 4 days sense I went to Avery’s and school is almost over, just one more day and then I can leave that hellhole I call home.
    After school I went to my room and decided to start packing a suitcase for my trip to England.
    I was packing and listening to Want you back by Cher Lloyd.

    I got home and my mom was at work so I had the house to myself.
    My mom works every day and doesn’t get back home until 9:00 pm, she’s never really paid much attention to me ever sense she has divorced dad she has been kind of in her own little world, and I wasn’t in it.
    She has a boyfriend named Rick and I hate him, he always threatens me when I don’t do something my mom asked
    me to do, and they aren’t threats like, all take your laptop or phone away, its like you better do it or find somewhere else to stay tonight.
    He says this kind of stuff and my mom just watches him say stuff like that to me, I never know if he’s gonna do something worse than that, I really don’t know what to expect from him.
    “do your homework” said my mom emotionless
    “I don’t have any homework today, can I go to Avery’s?” I asked looking at Rick and back to my mom careful of my words.
    “you can go but be back at 10, or you know what will happen” he said with a warning.
    “fine, oh and mom, dad called this morning and im staying at his place this summer” I said and I left to my room.
    I took out my phone to text Avery.

    My phone buzzed, it was my dad.
    I picked it up
    “hey dad” I said
    I didn’t live with my dad, my mom and dad divorced when I was 12, and im 17 now. Its hard but I go back and forth, living with them.
    Right now im living with my mom in the U.S. but im naturally from England were my dad lives.
    “hi Hun, I have to ask you something” he said excitedly.
    “what is it, dad?” I asked a bit confused.
    “do you want to visit me this summer?” he asked.
    It was June and we had a week till school was over,
    And I haven’t been to England in a while and I missed it.
    “Yes! Im miss you so much dad!” I said happily.
    “okay great! I miss you to sweat heart, all send you a plane ticket” he said
    “okay thanks dad” I said
    “no problem, love you Hun. Bye” he said and hung up.
    I put the phone on my bed and got ready for school, I put skinny jeans and a Hollister shirt on and some boots.
    I put a little mascara on and eye liner and a bit of lipstick.
    I was all ready to go to school.
    I went to the front door, grabbed my backpack and left to my car.
    I turned up the radio and One Direction, what makes you beautiful came on. I didn’t know much about one direction, I only knew one of there songs witch was what makes you beautiful.
    I started singing the song.

    “hey we should hang out this summer” she whispered to me as the teacher explained the math problem.
    “I cant, im going to visit my dad in England.” I said
    “oh yeah your dad lives in England, almost forgot, when are you leaving?” she asked
    “on the first day of summer” I said getting excited
    “Nice, tell me if you find any hot guys in England” she said smirking. I giggled “your such an idiot” I said as we both laughed.
