listen to me, THIS IS NOT YOUR FAULT. my mom is exactly like this. She will say these things, she will tell you how much YOU hurt HER even though it's the other way around. She is manipulating you into thinking YOU are the bad guy, not HER. You love your dad, she's trying to manipulate you into thinking you shouldn't spend time with him. DO WHAT MAKES YOU HAPPY. I can not promise you she will stop because she probably won't and I'm sorry about that, I wish I could help. You are not the one making your mom hate herself, it's her. She needs to understand she can't blame her problems on you, it makes you hate yourself and it sucks that she doesn't see that. reply

never blame yourself. please i've been there and it's not what you should do... I say just be with her and talk to her more she is going through a ruff time it's not you trust me she loves you and would never want you to blame yourself reply
