hi, just on your comment replying to all_smiles about the 3rd quarter quell/2nd... during the 2nd quarter quell they had twice the amount of tributes so technically 47 people died, whereas in the 3rd quarter quell they just recycled old victors. THAT'S what the other person was trying to say. reply

hi, i read a bit of your story: since you're writing it from the main character's point of view, try to include more of her thoughts and develop her into a less general character. also, creativity is subtraction. you don't need to include each thing your characters do unless its relevant to the story.
as a last note, i don't suggest posting stories as quotes, just because witty's environment isn't really looking to read long stories as much as they want to vent and laugh about things. try posting your stories and asking for critique on other websites specifically created for writing, like fictionpress or wattpad. have a nice day! :) reply
