To me it seems he is too shy or is afraid to talk to you based off of his new group of friends.
The best advice I can give you?
Dont force yourself onto him. Make HIM come to YOU. Make yourself stand out, play hard to get. Dont constantly bug him, let him be the one who starts the conversations.
Try to do things to make him notice you. If after a while nothing happens, then Im sorry girl, but hes not interested.
