This is really good!! It's so different from most of the stories on Witty. :)

I'm assuming that this story is in the past tense because of the use of things like "said", "had", "snickered", etc. In the last paragraph, it says "Tay IS twelve, Enoch IS eleven, and Leonard IS ten." In this sentence, you're writing in the present tense. I'm no grammar expert, but since I do write stories myself, I'd choose solely one tense for your story. I suggest that in place of that sentence, you could say, "Tay WAS twelve, Enoch WAS eleven, and Leonard WAS ten." Get what I'm saying?

Other than that, I think your word choice and details are great! Good job!
