No, they should not text you first ALL the time. Sometimes they want YOU to text you first. Have you ever though it ever works the reverse way. My boyfriend usually wakes up at 8 and I wake up at 11, and he waits for my texts some days, and on others I wake up to 5 texts from him. This was also while we weren't official yet. It annoys me that most girls think this way.
