She finally reached rock bottom
She found an old notebook and dull pencil and put it in her favorite tote bag. She grabbed her white sunglasses to hide her tears. She walked out the door and ran as fast as she could to the nearest park. She needed to get away from everybody & everything. She looked for a spot far away from all the happy children on the playground so nobody could here her crying. She found a spot far away on the bleachers near an old baseball diamond. She sat on the top and looked toward the sky. She got out her notebook and her old yellow pencil. She wrote a letter to her mom. She passed away a couple years ago & she just needed something to stop her from feeling lost. Lost and loney was all she ever felt. She sat there for two hours straight, alone in the park, just writing. She missed the way things use to be. She watched the sunset & prayed to God. She prayed that someway, somehow, her mom could read that letter. She didn't know what else to do because there is no address to heaven. And then the strangest, most marvelous thing happened. She smelled her mom's old favorite perfume. She knew that her mom was sitting there with her on the old creeking bleachers. She wasn't alone. For the first time in a long time, a smile crossed her face. She stood up and threw the four pages she wrote into a puddle. && She slowly walked home. She knew everything was going to be okay.
