Thanks:) I don't the poems would make people mad as much as the quotes I make about depression and eating disorders, when I say people need to stop romanticizing it, of course the people romanticizing it get angry at me, but I just can't keep quiet about it

Romaniticizing depression is like hyping murder (okay only almost).
And I think we all need something that lets us express ourselves.
Let it be writing poems, or something less creative like blogging. It doesn't matter and we are not doing this so people think "yay I want this too"

No, you are completely right, it is like encouraging murder or suicide...self expression is great, but not when you are saying "this is so cool, be like me"....I want people to be like "that sounds awful, and I don't want to end up like that"....It is hard to express yourself when you have depression or a mental illness because there is a lot of stigma attached to it

that's understandable, I guess what makes me mad is when people try to make being sad look cool or romantic, if you are just letting people know how you feel, there is nothing wrong with that (my poems are depressing) self expression is totally fine, romanticizing is another thing..

They can't stop because they choose to be ignorant, i have tried talking to people like this so many times and they always give the same stupid excuses, its actually scary...i wish people were bothered by mental disorders and depression instead of being intrigued by them

I am sensitive too..I get my feelings hurt easily and I get triggered by things easily, it is understandable to get upset by people who make jokes out of serious things
