That just described my life perfectly. I am in a relationship of 7 months rite now and lets see.. i cut ALOT in 7th grade, 8th grade i did it less, 9th i did it once. And currently im in 10th and i did it about a week ago also. Since 8th grade it takes ALOT to throw me over but it happened. Me and my bf were in a fight and his best friend who was supposedly my friend started talling me that i nvr actually loved him and im just a and so on so that threw me over and i cut. I have friends who also do that but the ones ik i care about but not enouf. I dnt wnna do it but iot helps.. it just sux tht im stuk. Listen to ur friend. Once you do it a second time ur trapped and u dnt no any mor ways out and its hard to stop. Its like drugs. Nothing is so bad that u shud do tht to urself. Really. I hate myself for it and like i sed everything in ur paragraph described me perfectly. just hold on. itll all b over soon. :) reply
